Apozomus weiri is a species of short-tailed whip-scorpions, also known as schizomids, in the Hubbardiidae family. It is endemic to Australia. It was described in 1992 by Australian arachnologist Mark Harvey.[1][2]
Distribution and habitat
[edit]The species occurs in Far North Queensland. The type locality is 15 km west-north-west of Bald Hill in the McIlwraith Range on the Cape York Peninsula. The schizomids were found in open forest plant litter.[1][2]
Behaviour
[edit]The short-tailed whip-scorpions are terrestrial predators.[1][2]
